Namyangju City Recruiting Participants for US Brea Youth International Exchange Program Until the 27th
Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 14th that it is recruiting participants for the "2025 Youth International Exchange Group" (Brea City, USA) to strengthen the international capabilities of youth and promote friendship and cooperation with international exchange cities.
Previously, the city conducted exchange activities during last summer vacation. Next year, in February, participants will visit Brea City, USA, to engage in △local family homestays △attending classes at Brea middle and high schools △historical and cultural explorations △institution visits, among other activities.
The recruitment period is from the 14th to the 27th. Eligible applicants are youths born between January 1, 2006, and December 31, 2011, who currently reside in the city as of the announcement date.
To expand participation opportunities for youths requiring financial support, the city will separately select 4 socially disadvantaged youths out of the total 24 recruits.
Applicants will receive additional points if they meet any of the following criteria: △from multi-child families △volunteer hours △contributions to city development.
Applications must be submitted through Document24 during the recruitment period. After the first document screening and the second interview screening, the final selected participants will be announced in November.
