View original imageLee Chang-yong, Governor of the Bank of Korea, stated that he would consider a plan to disclose the minutes of the Monetary Policy Committee, which are currently published anonymously, under real names after a certain period.
On the 14th, during the National Assembly's Planning and Finance Committee audit of the Bank of Korea, Governor Lee said, "If it is important to disclose the minutes of the Monetary Policy Committee under real names, I will consider doing so after a certain period."
He explained that the reason for not disclosing real names currently is due to the side effects that may arise when real names are revealed, given the frequently changing economic situation.
