Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba said on the 11th, "We will utilize shuttle diplomacy and work closely with President Yoon Suk-yeol going forward."
After completing the ASEAN-related summit schedule that day, Prime Minister Ishiba held a press conference to explain the diplomatic achievements, stating, "President Yoon and I have agreed to strengthen cooperation in various fields such as people-to-people exchanges, economic cooperation, and trilateral security cooperation among South Korea, the United States, and Japan to mark the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan next year."
