This agreement was planned to efficiently operate national qualifications and enhance public services. The two organizations will focus their cooperation on ▲building infrastructure for national qualification exams ▲personnel management including staff competency development ▲and practicing ESG management.
Digital test centers are scheduled to be installed at Gwangan Station on Line 2 and Dongnae Station on Line 4, marking the first time such centers will be established within urban railway stations nationwide.
The centers will consist of five rooms, including CBT (Computer Based Test) written exam rooms and multipurpose (CAD, drafting test, etc.) practical exam rooms, and are expected to begin operation next year. Once fully operational, the centers are anticipated to greatly improve convenience for examinees who have experienced difficulties with registration and participation in national technical qualification exams due to a lack of test venues.
Lee Byungjin, President of Busan Transportation Corporation, said, "Since national qualification exams are closely related to employment, this agreement will allow examinees in Busan to conveniently take their desired exams using the urban railway. We will actively cooperate with the corporation to provide citizen-oriented services."
