'1 Night 2 Days' Removes Video After Writer Carrying Luggage Is Ignored, Controversy Grows Over Rude Behavior Explanation
As Controversy Grows, Broadcast Clips Also Deleted
The cast of KBS2 variety show '1 Night 2 Days' has been embroiled in a 'bad manners' controversy. Most of the cast members, except for Moon Se-yoon, did not help the writer carrying heavy luggage.
On the episode aired on the 6th, KBS2's '1 Night 2 Days' conducted a 'manners test' targeting six cast members. The production team had the youngest writer carry heavy luggage to observe the cast's reactions.
The first test subject was Kim Jong-min. He asked the youngest writer carrying watermelons in both hands, "Whose is this?" but did not actually help. Later, DinDin, Yoo Seon-ho, Jo Se-ho, and Lee Jun, who also took the test, did not lighten the writer's load. In particular, Jo Se-ho passed by without even glancing at the youngest writer, looking at his phone instead.

Kim Jong-min excused himself, saying, "I was worried it might be awkward if I helped since it was their own stuff." DinDin emphasized, "I spoke politely to the youngest writer. I showed respect." Jo Se-ho appeared flustered, saying, "I don't remember."
Moon Se-yoon pointed to Jo Se-ho as the member who showed the worst manners, criticizing, "The most unforgivable thing was when he said, 'Why don't I remember?'" In response, Jo Se-ho pleaded, "Even if I get criticized, I should be able to explain. I haven't eaten anything since the beef head soup today."

The cast members' attitudes sparked controversy among viewers who watched the broadcast. Online communities and forums featured sharp criticisms such as, "Are celebrities nobles?" "Regardless of gender, if a staff member is carrying heavy luggage, you should help," and "It was a broadcast that lowered their likability." As the controversy grew, the '1 Night 2 Days' team deleted the broadcast clips uploaded on official YouTube channels and elsewhere.
