Gwanak-gu to Host 2025 College Entrance Interview Strategy Special Lecture
Invitation of Lecturer Lee Daehee, Former Admissions Officer at Kookmin University, Chung-Ang University, Konkuk University, Dankook University, and Inha University
Revealing Strategies for 'Competitive Student Records' and 'College Entrance Interview Preparation' from the Perspective of an Admissions Officer
Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) is hosting the ‘2025 College Entrance Early Admission Strategy Special Lecture’ to provide tailored admission information for students and parents who are concerned about college entrance.
Based on the number of early admission recruits at universities in the metropolitan area, the ‘2025 Student Record Comprehensive Screening Admission Quota’ accounts for 44% of the total recruitment.
Among the student record comprehensive screening methods, document screening evaluates the student's academic ability, while the interview screening focuses on career competency and potential for development.
In particular, the interview screening offers a ‘chance for turnaround’ to students disadvantaged by their academic grades and student records, making the competition relatively high.
Accordingly, the district will hold a strategy special lecture to support students’ successful 2025 early admission interview screening. For this special lecture, the district invited Lee Dae-hee, the chief admissions officer at Kookmin University, who has served as an admissions officer at various universities for 16 years.
Lecturer Lee Dae-hee will give a talk on ‘the attitudes and preparation methods students should have for college entrance interviews’ from the perspective of a university interviewer. Additionally, there will be a session explaining ‘the direction for a competitive student record’ for parents with children in the second year of high school.
The special lecture will be held on October 23 at 7 p.m. in the main auditorium on the 8th floor of Gwanak-gu Office. Those wishing to attend can apply from 8 p.m. on October 4 through the Gwanak Career and Job Experience Support Center website, with a limit of 300 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Support for students’ college entrance will continue even after this early admission interview lecture. The district plans to hold a regular admission strategy special lecture and admission consulting on November 10 to operate further admission support programs for local students and parents targeting the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).
