Chungnam Province Recruiting Young Farmers to Lead Smart Farms
Support Eligibility Expanded to Age 44
Chungnam Province announced on the 2nd that it is recruiting young farmers to lead next year's smart farm initiatives.
The program is open to 50 young farmers who have completed specialized smart farm training or have finished practical management training at leading farms, and applicants can be up to 44 years old.
For those building new smart farms ranging from 0.3 to 0.5 hectares, up to 450 million KRW per person will be provided (including a 30% self-contribution), with a subsidy ratio selectable between 60% and 70%.
The province, in cooperation with the Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation, will provide 200 million KRW in interest support and make unsecured loans from the Agricultural and Fishing Village Promotion Fund available.
Applications can be submitted through city and county offices from the 10th to the 18th of this month.
