GH Launches Medical Welfare Social Contribution Contest with 400 Million Won Investment
Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) is promoting a 'Medical Welfare Social Contribution Public Contest Project' in which university hospitals and local governments collaborate to improve the medical welfare of Gyeonggi residents.
On the 30th, GH announced that it will select two institutions from consortia composed of university hospitals and local governments within the province and allocate 200 million KRW in support funds to each through the 'Medical Welfare Social Contribution Public Contest Project.'
Applicant institutions must propose various medical and health programs such as visiting medical services for medically vulnerable areas, health checkups and emergency medical expense support for vulnerable groups, mental health promotion and patient healing programs, and hospice palliative care.
GH will select outstanding institutions through an evaluation by the Medical Welfare Public Contest Project Selection Committee in October. The project’s outcomes will be continuously monitored, and if the effectiveness of the medical welfare project is recognized, extension of support will also be considered.
