Korea Housing Finance Corporation Invites Policy Proposals to Address Low Birthrate, Super-Aging, and Regional Extinction Crisis
Collecting Public Opinions on Policy Improvements Regarding Changes in Population Structure
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, President Kim Kyunghwan) is holding a "National Policy Proposal Contest" to discover innovative policy ideas from the public in response to demographic changes such as low birth rates, super-aging society, and the decline of local regions.
This contest is open to all citizens of the Republic of Korea. The fields for proposals include: ▲ Overcoming low birth rates ▲ Preparing for a super-aging society ▲ Responding to the decline of local regions ▲ Addressing the increase in single-person households, and overall improvements to housing finance policies in response to demographic changes. Proposals can be submitted via the contest board on the HF Corporation website until November 29.
HF Corporation will evaluate submissions based on problem-solving potential, feasibility, originality, and relevance, and will award: ▲ 1 Grand Prize winner (KRW 1,000,000) ▲ 2 Excellence Prize winners (KRW 500,000 each) ▲ 3 Encouragement Prize winners (KRW 300,000 each). Outstanding proposals may be reflected in HF Corporation's development of customized housing finance products for different life stages.
