View original imageThe Suwon Southern Fire Station in Gyeonggi-do will conduct an unannounced fire safety information survey on 174 lodging facilities in its jurisdiction until the end of October.
During this inspection, the Suwon Southern Fire Station will focus on fire alarm systems, extinguishing equipment, and emergency exits. They will also thoroughly check the flame-retardant condition of indoor curtains and wallpaper, the detachment status of door closers, and the management status of smoke vents.
Based on the inspection results, the Suwon Southern Fire Station plans to take administrative actions such as fines, penalties, and orders for corrective measures, along with ensuring that fire safety facilities within lodging establishments operate normally.

Go Young-ju, the chief of Suwon Southern Fire Station, stated, "This inspection aims to alleviate concerns about lodging facilities in the area during the upcoming autumn tourism season so that guests can use them with peace of mind.
