U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will hold talks with Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Foreign Minister, on the 27th (local time).
According to the minister's schedule released by the U.S. Department of State on the 26th, Secretary Blinken will meet with Foreign Minister Wang Yi in New York, where the United Nations General Assembly is being held, on the afternoon of the 27th. The two are expected to discuss issues concerning U.S.-China bilateral relations, as well as the war in Ukraine, escalating tensions in the Middle East, North Korea's nuclear and missile provocations, and the maritime sovereignty dispute between China and the Philippines in the South China Sea.
