Hancom Supplies Cloud Office to US Government Knowledge Management System
Hancom announced on the 27th that its subsidiary Thinkfree has signed a contract with Tesla Government in the United States and will supply 'Thinkfree Office' to the U.S. government knowledge management system.
The knowledge management system developed by Tesla Government is being delivered in cloud and on-premises forms to the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Department of Agriculture, Department of Commerce, and the International Development Agency.
Thinkfree Office is a tool that allows users to edit and save documents on both PC and mobile environments simply by logging in through a web browser without installing separate software. Unlike installed office software, cloud office automatically updates the latest features and security patches. It prevents the risk of sensitive information leakage and protects data within the infrastructure by hosting office products on the institution's own servers.
Additionally, its compatibility and productivity are strong points. Thinkfree Office has high compatibility with Microsoft (MS) Office document formats such as word processors, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Its real-time collaborative editing feature is also highly rated. Multiple users can open the same document and work simultaneously, facilitating collaboration. Thinkfree Office effectively monitors collaborative work with communication features such as in-application chat and comments, as well as change tracking functions. It also supports various operating systems, allowing users to work in their preferred environment.
