The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 26th that it held the ‘Jeonnam-type Small School Specialization Model School Performance Presentation’ at Yeosu Hwayang Elementary School and Mokpo Seosan Elementary School.
This presentation was held to report the project achievements of the 10 model schools selected this year and to provide customized consulting on distinctive educational activities of small schools.

The ‘Jeonnam-type Small School Specialization Model School’ is a key project of the provincial office of education aimed at overcoming the crisis of declining school-age population through branded education reflecting regional characteristics and the strengths of schools.
The schools selected this year are ▲ Mokpo Seosan Elementary School (Marine Education Bada浪 School) ▲ Hwayang Elementary School (Yeosu Student Writer School) ▲ Seosam Elementary School (Green Therapy Healthy Atopy Safe School) ▲ Jungdong Elementary School (Sansuyu Valley Cinecool) ▲ Samgi Elementary School (Village-Embracing Proud Film School) ▲ Deokjin Elementary School (Exciting Wolchul Cooking School) ▲ Ganmun Elementary School (Dream·Light Sound English Musical School) ▲ Byeollyang Elementary School (Earth Star Ecology School) ▲ Goheung Daeseo Middle School (Glocal School) ▲ Naju Bonghwang Middle School (Korean Traditional Music Arts Sensibility School).

The specialized model schools will hold a performance sharing presentation in December at the Jeonnam Women and Family Foundation for all small school staff in Jeonnam, and will present a sustainable small school branded curriculum model.
