SPC Group, the leading player in K-bakery, has embarked on pioneering the Eastern European market.
SPC Group announced on the 23rd that President Heo Jin-su discussed plans to enter the Eastern European market in Prague, Czech Republic, over three days starting from the 19th.
President Heo first held the 'Paris Baguette Europe Leadership Meeting' and explored ways to expand exports and secure distribution channels in Eastern Europe with Jack Moran, SPC Group's Europe head, and others.
In a separate schedule, he held meetings on investment market trends and investment strategies with Jan Michal, head of the Czech Investment Agency. He also met with officials from the Czech financial authorities and major banks to assess the market situation in Eastern Europe and the potential for expanding K-bakery exports.
As part of President Yoon Suk-yeol's economic delegation visiting the Czech Republic, he attended the 'Korea-Czech Business Forum' and discussed ways to strengthen economic security and promote Korea-Czech cooperation and investment activation with local businesspeople and government officials.
