HiteJinro Distributes Chinese Premium Baijiu 'Suijingbang'
Sujeongbang Distributes 3 Products Including 'Wolbei, Red Fortune, No.8'
Efforts to Strengthen Trust by Attaching 'Genuine Authentication Anti-Counterfeit Stickers'
HiteJinro announced on the 23rd that it will be responsible for the domestic distribution of three types of the Chinese premium baijiu 'Sujingfang.'
Sujingfang is the oldest distillery in the world, established 600 years ago. In 1998, the ancient facility was excavated in its preserved state along the Jinjiang River in Chengdu and was designated as a 'Major National Cultural Heritage' of China. It was also registered in the Guinness World Records as the oldest distillery in the world. It is the first baijiu company officially certified by the Chinese government.
HiteJinro will handle the domestic distribution of Sujingfang and will newly attach a ‘genuine product authentication anti-counterfeiting sticker’ on all products from the production stage. This effort aims to resolve consumer distrust toward counterfeit Chinese baijiu and is expected to contribute to increased sales.
The products to be distributed this time are three types: 'Sujingfang Well-Bay,' 'Sujingfang Red Fortune,' and 'Sujingfang No.8.' Sujingfang Well-Bay is named after the well where the Sujingfang distillery was built 600 years ago and represents the highest quality baijiu passed down since the late Yuan Dynasty. Sujingfang Red Fortune features a red and gold design symbolizing good luck for customers and is characterized by a smooth taste. Sujingfang No.8 is brewed carefully with current technology using the No.8 yeast strain discovered during the brewery’s renovation. It has a clean taste and is a representative introductory product of Sujingfang.
