Ulsan Culture and Arts Center Renovates Outdoor Exhibition Hall for Autumn
Exhibition of 20 Works on the Theme of 'City and Nature'
The Ulsan Culture and Arts Center will hold the "National Outdoor Sculpture Invitational Exhibition" at its outdoor exhibition space for 60 days, from the 26th of this month to November 26th.
This exhibition, under the theme of "City and Nature," will showcase 20 large-scale outdoor sculptures made of stone, iron, stainless steel, and more.
The event is designed to offer visitors an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of nature through sculptures in the city, relieve the stress of modern life, and discover new perspectives.
The participating artists, who are actively working across the country in cities such as Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Ulsan, Gyeonggi, Chungnam, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam, include Shim Byeonggeon, Park Taewon, Lee Gicheol, Park Geunwoo, Kim Jincheol, Min Taeyeon, Lee Jungho, Jeong Chanho, Seong Minae, and Lee Inhaeng, totaling 10 artists.
This exhibition, where visitors can see outstanding sculptures from all over the country in one place, provides citizens with the opportunity to appreciate high-quality works of art.
The outdoor exhibition space at the Culture and Arts Center, where the sculptures are displayed, operates as an open space accessible to the public 24 hours a day.

A representative of the Culture and Arts Center stated, "The city exists within nature, and nature exists within the city," adding, "We hope this exhibition will be a step forward toward a 'nature-friendly cultural city, Ulsan,' where city and nature harmoniously coexist."
