The Gift Return Center is a system where the company returns gifts received by employees from external stakeholders on their behalf during the holiday period, contributing to the establishment of a high-quality ethical culture.
All costs incurred in the process of returning gifts are covered by the company, and a sticker with the message "We accept your kind thoughts, but return the gift" is attached when returning the items.
If it is difficult to identify the sender or if the gift is food or otherwise cannot be returned, the items are handled through external donations or internal online auctions.
All proceeds from the auctions are donated to the POSCO 1% Sharing Foundation and are used as funding for various social contribution activities, fulfilling the company's social responsibility.
The POSCO 1% Sharing Foundation is a non-profit public interest corporation operated since 2013, where POSCO Group and partner company employees voluntarily donate 1% of their monthly salaries, and the company matches the donations through a matching grant. Beyond simple financial contributions, it plays an important role in realizing POSCO's ethical values and social responsibility.
