Public Procurement Service Launches 'Nara Market Win-Win Sale' for Public Institutions... Average 9.2% Discount
The Public Procurement Service announced on the 19th that it will hold the ‘2024 Second Half Nara Market Win-Win Sale’ from the 23rd of this month to the 11th of next month.
The Nara Market Win-Win Sale is an event where products from companies registered on the Nara Market comprehensive shopping mall, who have expressed their intention to participate, are supplied to public institutions at discounted prices. It is held twice a year, in the first and second halves of the year.
In the second half event, 580 companies will participate, offering discounts on 16,086 products including office furniture, electronic devices, road and facility materials, and kitchenware. This represents an 18.6% increase in participating companies and a 64.9% increase in the number of products compared to the second half of last year (489 companies and 9,753 products).
The average discount rate for products sold during the event is 9.2%. Among the discount rate ranges, products with a 5-10% discount account for 10,305 items (64.1%), the largest share.
Notably, the average discount rate for laptop computers reaches 22.1%, with a maximum discount rate of 45.5%.
Discounted products can be found by accessing the ‘Discount Events/Promotions’ section on the Nara Market website during the Win-Win Sale period.
Earlier, companies participating in the first half Win-Win Sale achieved total sales of 43.8 billion KRW, which the Public Procurement Service identified as having a positive effect on boosting company sales.
