On the 12th, Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 13th that it had signed a business agreement with Gyeonggi Province, Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation, and the Korea Venture Business Association at the conference room of the Venture Business Association in Guro-gu, Seoul, to attract anchor companies to Yangju Technovalley and revitalize the influx of venture and startup companies.
The signing ceremony was attended by Yangju Mayor Kang Su-hyun, Gyeonggi Province Administrative Deputy Governor Kim Seong-jung, Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation Balanced Development Headquarters Director Oh Wan-seok, Korea Venture Business Association Chairman Seong Sang-yeop, and National Assembly member Jeong Seong-ho.
They agreed to establish various support policies to attract anchor companies to Yangju Technovalley and create an environment where excellent venture companies and startups can grow.
Through this business agreement, Gyeonggi Province will oversee the establishment of strategies to attract anchor (leading) companies and revitalize venture investment inflows, and plans to strengthen administrative support.
The Korea Venture Business Association will provide consultation and strategy establishment related to revitalizing venture investment, while Yangju City and Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation agreed to mutually cooperate in attracting domestic and foreign venture companies and supporting licensing procedures.
