On the 13th, Governor Kim posted on his social media, stating, "The corruption in the presidential residence construction is lowering the nation's dignity," and lamented, "An unbelievable mess has unfolded, including contracts, construction, and completion with unqualified companies related to First Lady Kim Keon-hee, as well as inflated construction costs and numerous illegalities and corrupt practices."
He continued, "This is not something that can be simply overlooked with the Audit Board's light 'caution' measure," and criticized, "If the governor's residence 'Dodamso,' which was returned as a communication space for the residents, had been remodeled like this, I would have been investigated immediately."
In particular, he asserted, "Not only the president's dignity but also the national system has collapsed before power," and demanded, "The root of the state manipulation must be thoroughly eradicated."
Earlier, on the 12th, the Audit Board revealed that a loss of 1.6 billion KRW in national funds occurred due to misconduct by a senior official of the Security Office during the relocation of the presidential office and residence.
According to the audit report released that day, Mr. A, a senior official of the Presidential Security Office responsible for the installation of bulletproof windows, failed to properly review the inflated construction estimate submitted by a broker Mr. B, whom he knew personally, resulting in a loss of approximately 1.57 billion KRW of national funds.

Additionally, the Audit Board confirmed cases where national contract and construction laws were not followed during the presidential office relocation and residence repairs. The Audit Board also raised the responsibility of the Presidential Secretariat for negligence in management and supervision, as 19 unqualified companies were subcontracted in the residence repair work.
