Spokesperson Jung Hye-jeon held a briefing at the Yongsan Presidential Office on the same day and said, "Starting tomorrow, President Yoon will visit sites to check on the status of medical care, public safety, disaster prevention, and national security."
Spokesperson Jung explained, "This is to visit and encourage those who are dedicating themselves to the Republic of Korea on the front lines, unable to be with their families during the Chuseok holiday, and to express gratitude."
President Yoon plans to visit two hospitals, including an emergency medical center, to inspect the medical system, and will also visit police stations, fire stations, and military units to encourage the soldiers.
