Kyungnam College of Information Technology Holds Customized Education Department Employment Competency Enhancement Program
Kyungnam College of Information & Technology (President Kim Taesang) recently held the “2024 FOLLOW-UP Customized Education Department Job Competency Enhancement Program” organized by the LINC3.0 Project Group at Park Hyatt Hotel Busan.
This program was implemented to strengthen the job competencies and support the employment of graduating students. A total of 88 students from departments operating customized education courses, including Medical Administration, Hair Design, Occupational Therapy, K-Beauty, Beauty Advisor, Dental Hygiene, and Hotel Culinary Arts, participated in the program.
Over three sessions?an Excellent Case Workshop, Competency Jump-Up Mentoring Camp, and Personality Camp?industry-specialized lectures tailored to each department, team-building activities among participating departments, and mentoring programs between industry experts and students were conducted.
Participating students had the opportunity to gain a clearer sense of purpose for their future and boost their confidence in employment through job trend analysis and job competency enhancement programs.
Lim Junwoo, Head of the LINC3.0 Project Group, stated, “One of the reasons for Kyungnam College of Information & Technology’s high employment rate is the employment-guaranteed customized education, where the university directly selects and trains the talent that companies desire,” adding, “We will continue to uphold our reputation as a ‘university where admission means employment’ through various programs that promote customized education and support students’ career paths and employment.”

This year, Kyungnam College of Information & Technology achieved an employment rate of 73.2%, surpassing the national university average of 69.6%. This result is attributed to the success of the ‘employment-guaranteed customized education’ aimed at providing students with quality employment opportunities.
