Group 'BTS' RM (Kim Namjoon) donated 100 million won to the Veterans Affairs Fund through the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs' 'Everyone's Veterans Dream' campaign while serving in the military.
His agency, Big Hit Music, stated, "RM participated in the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs' 'Uniformed Service Workers Appreciation Campaign' and made this donation. The funds will be used to support the welfare and honor of veterans and their families among uniformed service workers."
RM said, "These days, I personally feel the dedication of many people serving the country on the front lines. I hope this small help reaches all the heroes who are dedicating themselves to the nation at this very moment, as well as many who have worked hard for peace. And I sincerely thank ARMY (the fandom name) who always send me overwhelming love and congratulations," expressing his thoughts.
RM has been continuing various forms of donation activities to commemorate his birthday. Last year, he contributed to the Korean Society of Legal Medicine, highlighting the importance of training experts. In 2021 and 2022, he donated to the Overseas Korean Cultural Heritage Foundation, spreading positive influence across various fields by supporting cultural heritage restoration and preservation.
