Gyeongbuk Office of Education to Recruit 368 Kindergarten and Elementary School Teachers, Including 2 Private School Teachers
Gyeongbuk Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Jong-sik) announced on the 11th the '2025 Public and Private Kindergarten, Elementary School, and Special School (Kindergarten/Elementary) Teacher Appointment Candidate Selection Competitive Examination Implementation Plan' through the provincial office's website.
The recruitment scale is 368 teachers, including 366 for public schools and 2 for private schools.
For public schools, 20 kindergarten teachers, 318 elementary school teachers, 5 special school (kindergarten) teachers, and 23 special school (elementary) teachers will be recruited, totaling 366 teachers.
The number of elementary school teachers to be recruited next year has increased by 44 compared to this year. This is due to the increased demand for elementary school teachers as contract-based educational researchers are being recruited in preparation for the full implementation of Neulbom School. It is the first time since the 2019 appointment examination that the number of newly appointed elementary school teachers has increased.
For private schools, 2 special school (elementary) teachers will be recruited, and the first round of the examination will be conducted on behalf of one school foundation.
Applications can be submitted online through the teacher recruitment system for five days from the 30th to October 4th. The first round of the examination will be held on November 9th, and the second round will be held from January 8th to January 10th next year.
The results of the first round will be announced on December 11th, and the final successful candidates will be announced on February 5th next year.
