Korea Wins Overall Championship After 9 Years with 12 Medals
The "17th Anseong World Soft Tennis Championship," held over seven days from the 3rd at the Anseong Matchum Soft Tennis Stadium in Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, successfully concluded on the 9th.

View original imageThe tournament, which featured over 400 athletes and officials from 31 countries, wrapped up with a closing ceremony held at the Anseong Matchum Indoor Gymnasium. The ceremony proceeded in the order of a farewell speech by the organizing committee chairman, announcement of results by event category, farewell banquet, and an after party.
Minajay from India, who participated in the tournament, said after the closing ceremony, "The opportunity to socialize with players from other countries on the last day of the tournament made it the most impressive closing ceremony among all the international competitions I have attended so far."
Kim Bora, mayor of Anseong, stated, "It was moving to see people with diverse languages and cultures coming together in Anseong through soft tennis," and added, "Thanks to everyone who supported and cooperated with this tournament, it was successfully concluded."
