Held on the 20th at Konkuk University Common Ground... 19 Workshops Participating

Emotional Singer-Songwriter Busking Stage... From 1 PM to 10 PM
Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) will hold the ‘Gwangjin Workshop Art Market,’ where various handmade crafts will be sold, at Konkuk University Common Ground on the 20th.
The ‘Workshop Art Market,’ launched for the first time this year, is a cultural exchange platform showcasing the works of artisans. It is organized as a preliminary event for the ‘2024 Gwangjin Living Culture and Arts Festival’ to be held in November, aimed at supporting the creative activities of local artists.
Nineteen workshops will participate in the sales booths. Visitors can find a variety of products including leather crafts, pottery, woodworking, accessories, household items, and bakery goods. It is an opportunity to purchase unique products different from mass-produced items. For small business owners running workshops, it is expected to help promote their stores and open new sales channels.
In addition, a small concert will be held to enhance the festival atmosphere. The event will feature a gentle busking performance including a stage by the emotional singer-songwriter Imagine.
The event will run from 1 PM to 10 PM. The music performance will take place for 40 minutes from 6 PM during the break time. Anyone interested can freely participate without prior registration.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, “This is a great opportunity to experience the diverse works of local artists with exceptional craftsmanship,” adding, “We will spare no effort to support the development of cultural and artistic projects so that outstanding talents can shine.”
