Perfect Match for Chuseok Food... Emart Presents Liquor Sets
Chuseok Gift Sets Officially on Sale from the 7th
Emart announced on the 6th that it will conduct the main sales of Chuseok gift sets from the 7th until Chuseok day on the 17th, along with a promotion for alcoholic beverage gift sets.
First, Emart has prepared various “cost-effective wine sets” and is running a promotion offering a 50% discount when purchasing two or more sets during the event period. Emart focused on the fact that consumers buying wine at affordable prices are increasing. In fact, the sales of Emart’s large-scale wine discount event “Super Wine Festa” in May 2023 grew by more than 9% compared to the “Wine Market Event” held in May 2023.
Emart has expanded the volume of wine gift sets for this Chuseok by more than 20% compared to last year and newly introduced 12 types of cost-effective wine sets. A notable product is the “Caudalis Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon (750ml) + Carm?n?re (750ml).” This wine is produced by one of Chile’s top wineries and is characterized by being made only from high-quality grapes. When purchasing two or more sets, a half-price discount is applied, allowing purchase at 19,900 KRW per set.
Emart also newly launched the Spanish “Noche Muderjar Set (750ml·2 bottles)” as another cost-effective wine set and applied a half-price discount promotion. When purchasing two or more sets, it is sold at 14,900 KRW per set. This product consists of a well-balanced red wine and a white wine with excellent plum aroma and fruitiness, recommended by Emart’s wine buyer as “wines that pair well with sweet Chuseok foods such as songpyeon and yugwa.” Goira, Emart’s wine buyer, said, “We prepared wines that pair well with Chuseok food at affordable prices,” adding, “They are perfect as gifts without burden for your loved ones and also great as gifts for yourself.”
Emart also prepared the core of alcoholic beverages, “whiskey gift sets.” Emart secured an additional volume worth about 3 billion KRW and increased the number of premium popular whiskey items aged 15 years or more. Moreover, it enhanced the value of gift sets by providing whiskey-exclusive glasses and other giveaways together.
The representative product, “Johnnie Walker Blue Label (750ml),” is a core product of the British royal warrant brand “Johnnie Walker,” boasting the highest quality. Thanks to its deep flavor and smoky finish, it pairs well with rich Chuseok dishes such as yukjeon and galbijjim. Emart also offers two “Glencairn glasses,” which best express the aroma of whiskey, as a gift. It can be purchased for 298,000 KRW during the event period.
