EBS and Entrance Exam Industry: "September Mock Exam Math Easier Than 2024 CSAT and June Mock Exam"
EBS Connection Rate 50%
EBS (Korea Educational Broadcasting System) and the entrance exam industry evaluated that the difficulty level of the mathematics section in the September mock test for the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test was easier than last year's CSAT and this June's mock test.
On the 4th, regarding the mathematics section of this nationwide mock test, EBS explained, "It is analyzed that the questions were set at an easier level compared to last year's CSAT and this June's mock test," adding, "Questions involving content not covered in the public education school curriculum, those requiring excessive calculations, or sentences that cause mistakes due to unnecessary concepts were excluded." The EBS linkage rate for the mathematics section of this mock test was 50% (15 out of 30 questions).

The entrance exam industry also viewed the difficulty of this test as generally easy. Jongro Academy stated, "It is estimated to be the easiest since the killer questions were excluded," and added, "The common subjects from questions 1 to 22, as well as the elective subjects from questions 23 to 30, were also set easier compared to the June mock test."
Questions with high discriminative power, commonly pointed out by both EBS and the entrance exam industry, included question 22 (Mathematics I), question 21 (Mathematics II), and question 30 in Probability and Statistics, Calculus, and Geometry. Question 22 requires listing terms of a sequence according to a given rule and finding the first term that satisfies a condition, which demands an accurate understanding of the inductive definition of sequences. Question 21 involves identifying the idea embedded in the given conditions to find a cubic function and calculate its derivative.
Megastudy explained about question 30 in Geometry, "It is a problem that finds the maximum and minimum values of the magnitude of a new vector created by decomposing and recombining vectors. Although once the direction is grasped, the answer can be reached simply, the initial approach was likely not easy," and judged it as the highest difficulty question in Geometry.
