On the 4th, Yongin City announced that it had secured a project budget of 1.3 billion KRW, including 900 million KRW in national funds, after being selected for the Ministry of Science and ICT's '2025 Smart Senior Center Distribution and Expansion Project' competition.
The 'Smart Senior Center' is a new concept senior center that integrates advanced technology into senior centers, which serve as community hubs and main activity spaces for the elderly, to help manage their health.
