Household Waste Disposal Schedule and Emergency Medical Measures
Gangbuk-gu Mayor Lee Soon-hee is communicating with merchants while visiting a traditional market during the Chuseok holiday. Provided by Gangbuk-gu.

This plan includes various measures for residents' convenience, such as issuing Gangbuk Love Gift Certificates, traditional market events, free opening of parking facilities, adjustment of household waste disposal schedules, and guidance from the emergency medical response situation room.
Gangbuk-gu will issue 8 billion KRW worth of Gangbuk Love Gift Certificates on the 4th. The gift certificates can be purchased at a 5% discount through the Seoul Pay+ app.
Various events have been prepared to revitalize traditional markets. At Uigolmok Market, events such as coupon distribution, art performances, and prize draws will be held from the 2nd to the 14th.
At Suyu Traditional Market, from the 9th to the 11th of this month, there will be Onnuri Gift Certificate refunds and giveaways of gifts such as ramen and flour. At Suyu Traditional Market, from the 11th to the 13th, Onnuri Gift Certificate refunds and shopping bag usage events will also take place.
Traditional market goods can also be purchased through online services. They can be easily ordered via Naver Neighborhood Market Shopping, Coupang Eats, and Baedal Minjok. When purchasing over 10,000 KRW at Suyu Traditional Market through Baedal Minjok, a 3,000 KRW discount coupon is provided, and when purchasing over 15,000 KRW at Suyu Traditional Market, a 5,000 KRW discount coupon and gifts are offered.
Parking fees around traditional markets will be waived for visitors. During the period from the 7th to the 18th, parking fees within 2 hours from the parking start time will be exempted.
From the 14th to the 18th of this month, school parking lots or playgrounds within the district will also be opened free of charge. The schools include Beondong Elementary, Samyang Elementary, Songjung Elementary, Ohyun Elementary, Ui Elementary, Yuhyun Elementary, Gangbuk Middle, Suyu Middle, Hwaggye Middle, Seorabeol Middle, Solsaem High, Hyehwa Girls' High, Younghoon High, and Seoul Hyojeong School.
Household waste collection will be suspended during the Chuseok holiday. The last day to dispose of waste before the holiday is until midnight on the 13th, and disposal can resume from 6 p.m. on the 18th after the holiday ends.
Gangbuk-gu Public Health Center will operate an emergency medical response situation room during the holiday to prepare for emergencies. During the day, assistance can be obtained by contacting the health center's medical response situation room, and at night, by contacting the Gangbuk-gu Office comprehensive situation room.
Additionally, to prevent medical service gaps, public night pharmacies and the Woori Ai Safe Clinic will also operate. The list of medical institutions and pharmacies available during the holiday can be found on the Gangbuk-gu Public Health Center website.
