Hamyang Sarang Gift Certificate 15% Special Discount Sale for Chuseok
September 5-25: Up to 1 Million KRW per Person, 15% Mobile Discount Sale Limit
Hamyang County in Gyeongnam Province will hold a special discount sale for the Hamyang Sarang Gift Certificate for 20 days, from the 5th to the 25th, in celebration of Chuseok.
To help increase sales for local small businesses and ease the financial burden on residents during the Chuseok holiday, the county has raised the purchase limit per person to 1 million won (500,000 won for paper certificates and 500,000 won for mobile certificates) and increased the discount rate for mobile Hamyang Sarang Gift Certificates to 15%.
Currently, the Hamyang Sarang Gift Certificate can be purchased at any time with a limit of 700,000 won per person (300,000 won for paper, 400,000 won for mobile) and a 10% discount rate.
The paper Hamyang Sarang Gift Certificate can be purchased at 23 financial institutions within the county, while the mobile version can be bought through the ZeroPay gift certificate purchase app (Biple ZeroPay).
A county official stated that, as demand for the Hamyang Sarang Gift Certificate continues to grow, small business owners who have not yet registered as affiliated stores are encouraged to apply through the county office, the ZeroPay website, or the Job and Economy Division to boost their business sales.
County Governor Jin Byungyeong said, "We are launching this special discount sale for the Hamyang Sarang Gift Certificate in celebration of Chuseok, and we hope for active participation from residents, related organizations, and groups."
