BNK Busan Bank Supports Smartphone Video Festival for School Violence Prevention
Supporting Students' Proper Growth for Seven Consecutive Years
BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) delivered a sponsorship fund of 50 million KRW to the Green Umbrella Busan Regional Headquarters for the "7th Smartphone Video Festival for the Prevention of School Violence" at its headquarters on the afternoon of the 29th.

View original imageThis "Smartphone Video Festival for the Prevention of School Violence," themed "We Will Protect You," is an educational support project jointly hosted by Green Umbrella, Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, and Busan Ilbo. It is designed to raise awareness about the prevention of school violence and support the healthy growth of students.
A total of 229 works were submitted for this year's festival, and after screening, 27 teams were awarded.
In the elementary division, the grand prize went to "Shining Together with Hands Held" by Sumi Elementary School in Busan. In the middle and high school division, the grand prize went to "The Rise and Fall of Two Stars" by Teresa Girls' High School. In the general division, the grand prize went to "Connection" by Keimyung University. The award ceremony will be held on September 5th at the Busan Ilbo Grand Auditorium in Sujeong-dong.
Kim Jinhan, Head of Digital Finance at Busan Bank, stated, "We hope that through this video festival, students can continue to lead healthy and upright school lives," and added, "We will continue to spare no effort in supporting the resolution of social education issues and the creation of a healthy educational environment."
Busan Bank is engaged in various education-related social contribution activities, such as the "BNK Happiness Scholarship" for nurturing local talent, the "Walking to School Together" new semester support project, and the "Dream-Filled Career Experience Program" to promote career education.
