Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Encourages 'Nuguna Store' Support Team for Barrier-Free Commercial Areas
On the afternoon of the 29th, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, appointed and encouraged the support team for the ‘Nuguna Gage’ (Anyone’s Store) initiative, which will lead the creation of barrier-free commercial areas, at the Mapo District Office auditorium.
‘Nuguna Gage’ refers to businesses recognized as stores that anyone can use safely and conveniently, regardless of disability.
About 50 people attended the appointment ceremony, including Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, residents who will serve as the support team, and welfare organization officials.
The appointed support team will complete basic training and promote ‘Nuguna Gage’ and recruit participating stores in areas such as Hongdae Red Road, Hapjeong Haneulgil, Yeonnam, Sangsu, and Mangwon-dong. They will also conduct monitoring of certified stores.
