30s Man Who Threatened Stabbing While Impersonating Police Officer... Suspended Sentence Upheld on Appeal
A man in his 30s accused of impersonating a police officer and posting a murder threat on the employee community Blind was sentenced to a suspended prison term again in the second trial.
According to the legal community on the 29th, the 1st Criminal Appeal Division 1-1 of the Seoul Eastern District Court (Chief Judge Jang Chan) sentenced Kim, who was indicted for threats and obstruction of official duties by deception, to one year in prison with a two-year suspension, the same as the first trial.
The court stated, "No new sentencing materials have been submitted that would overturn the original sentence, and considering all sentencing conditions comprehensively, the original sentence is not so light as to be unfair."
