Gurye-gun and Habitat for Humanity gifted a comfortable and safe new home to an elderly couple who had been living in temporary housing without a bathroom.
The house supported through Habitat for Humanity this time was built with the volunteer construction talents of students from the Habitat Wooden Architecture School, ensuring that the elderly can safely and conveniently use the kitchen, bathroom, utility room, and storage.
Secretary General Lee Kwang-hoe said, “Without a home, it is difficult to hold dreams and hopes, and to live a healthy life. We hope that neighbors who suffered from poor living conditions will regain their will to live and stability in their strong new home.”
