‘Happiness for 10,000 Won a Month!’…Recruitment of New Resident Companies at Songpa Women’s Career Connection Center Startup Support Office
Up to 2 Years of Collaborative Office, Mentoring, and Various Support Including Human and Material Resources... Recruiting 3 Locations
For Female Prospective Entrepreneurs or Women-Owned Businesses Within 3 Years... Email Applications Accepted Until September 11
Songpa-gu (District Mayor Seo Gang-seok) is recruiting female entrepreneurs who want to challenge startups at the Startup Support Office within the Songpa Women’s Career Transition Center (Baekjegobun-ro 42-gil 5).
The Startup Support Office is a specialized project by the district that supports the ‘space,’ which is the most necessary but financially burdensome aspect when starting a business. It serves as a cradle for nurturing competitive local businesses by strengthening the capabilities of early-stage entrepreneurs with business performance and technical skills and providing various opportunities.
The district is recruiting 3 out of 7 collaborative office seats until September 11. Any woman preparing to start a business or who has started a business within the last 3 years can apply. With a deposit of 100,000 KRW and a monthly management fee of 10,000 KRW, applicants can secure a business place and use various facilities within the center.
The office is equipped with office furniture for basic administrative tasks, multifunction printers, meeting rooms, and a studio optimized for online commerce, allowing product photography and live commerce video shooting.
Moreover, the district views prospective entrepreneurs and those in their 1st to 3rd year of business as being in the ‘startup incubation stage’ and provides systematic startup support programs such as one-on-one mentoring by experts, various marketing and tax lectures to enhance their capabilities. By operating a ‘Networking Day’ that leverages the advantages of shared offices, active information sharing among resident companies is encouraged, expecting a synergistic growth effect.
In fact, resident companies that actively participated in the program have succeeded in attracting projects from the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute and the Korea Startup Promotion Agency, and have been actively participating in various events and flea markets since April.
Preferred applicants are companies located in Songpa-gu or residents with an address in Songpa-gu. After the one-year contract period expires, residents can extend their stay up to 2 years through an internal renewal review.
Applications can be submitted by filling out the application form on the district website or the Songpa Women’s Career Transition Center website and sending it via email.
