Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Holds Joint Meeting with Fair Trade Commission and Financial Services Commission
The government is seeking ways to minimize consumer damage from T-Mef travel products.
On the 27th, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will hold a joint industry meeting with the Fair Trade Commission and the Financial Services Commission. The meeting will be attended by industry representatives from travel agencies, credit card companies, electronic payment service providers, as well as officials from related institutions such as the Financial Supervisory Service and the Korea Consumer Agency.
They plan to listen to various opinions on sharing the burden of consumer damage from travel products and prepare measures to promptly assist affected consumers.

A Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism official stated, "We urge the Korea Consumer Agency to expedite the collective dispute resolution process for travel products and will closely cooperate with related ministries to minimize consumer damage."
