Gyeonggi-do Operates Dokdo Digital Experience Center for Youth
Gyeonggi Province is hosting a digital Dokdo experience event for youth.
The Gyeonggi Youth Training Center announced on the 26th that it will sequentially hold the 'Dokdo Digital Experience Center' in five regions within the province to instill a correct understanding of Dokdo's history, geography, and ecology among young people and to widely promote the cultural significance of Dokdo.
The experience center is designed to allow participants to engage with various aspects of Dokdo in an interesting way using digital technology. The main activities include ▲Dokdo 4D roller coaster ▲3D stereoscopic video theater ▲360° touch VR ▲digital aquarium, among others.
The exhibition locations are the Gyeonggi Youth Training Center (September 2?4), Guri City Youth Training Center (September 7?13), Gunpo Lifelong Learning Village (October 5?11), Paju City Youth Training Center (October 29?November 2), and Pyeongtaek City Youth Culture Center (November 20?23).

Ko Young-mi, Director of Youth Affairs at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "This event focuses on providing youth and residents with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Dokdo through digital technology and to widely raise awareness of Dokdo's importance." She added, "We hope that through the experience center, residents will develop respect and a sense of preservation for our cultural heritage."
