On the 25th, at the Jade Palace Golf Club in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province (par 72, 6,797 yards), Park Ji-young secured a come-from-behind victory in the fourth round of the Hanwha Classic, the third major tournament of the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour season, with a total prize of 1.7 billion KRW. She posted a 4-under-par round to finish at 13-under-par 275, marking her third win of the season since the May Kyochon 1991 Ladies Open, her 10th career victory, and earning a winner's prize of 306 million KRW. This is her second major win since the KB Financial Star Championship last September.
Starting two strokes behind in a tie for second place, Park recorded six birdies and two bogeys. She took control of the leaderboard with three consecutive birdies from holes 4 to 6. Although she exchanged two birdies for two bogeys afterward and did not reduce her score further, her position at the top remained secure. She celebrated her victory by adding a birdie on the final 18th hole (par 5).
