Jeonnam Agricultural Research Institute and Bohae Brewery Join Hands to Develop Processed Products from Local Agricultural Specialties
Technology Transfer and Marketing Business Agreement

The Jeollanam-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services (Director Kim Haeng-ran) signed a business agreement with Bohae Brewery Co., Ltd. on the 23rd to facilitate the early market entry of processed products developed using Jeonnam agricultural specialties.
The agreement outlines that the two organizations will establish an organic cooperation system to promote the commercialization of technologies possessed by the Jeonnam Agricultural Research and Extension Services and develop various processed products utilizing local agricultural specialties.
Accordingly, the Jeonnam Agricultural Research and Extension Services will support the development and marketing of processed products using Jeonnam agricultural specialties to ensure efficient technology transfer, while Bohae Brewery will take charge of production, sales, and support for domestic and international distribution channels of the developed processed products. They also agreed to cooperate on other matters for mutual development.
Bohae Brewery is a leading liquor company in Korea. Recently, it has been recognized by young consumers for RTD (Ready To Drink) alcoholic beverages such as highballs, as well as beverages like Brother#Soda, making it a local company of Jeonnam.
At the signing ceremony, Lim Jae-hwi, head of Bohae Brewery’s Central Research Institute, stated, “We will actively cooperate to ensure that products using Jeonnam agricultural specialties quickly enter the market.”
