Kakao Games to Launch Early Access for 'Path of Exile 2' in November
New Trailer and Schedule Unveiled at Gamescom
Kakao Games has announced the early access schedule for 'Path of Exile 2,' developed by Grinding Gear Games.
On the 21st, at the Gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live (ONL) stage held in Cologne, Germany, Kakao Games revealed a new trailer for Path of Exile 2 and announced that early access will begin on November 16.
This game is an online ARPG in the hack-and-slash genre. The new trailer features various bosses that players will face, including a boss whose body and face are covered with numerous hands, and a boss that appears as a mix of plants and mollusks, set against the game's backdrop.
In particular, players can see enhanced action elements through boss attacks that involve dodging moves, bosses using terrain objects to slam the ground, moving faster than the player, and causing explosions from the ground, employing gimmicks typical of Souls-like games. Path of Exile 2 will be available to players at the Gamescom B2C and B2B halls from the 21st to the 25th for four days.
