Air Incheon Participates in Boeing's 'Safe Flight Support Program' in the US
Strategic Partnership with Boeing... Participation in FOR Support Program
Air Incheon, the only cargo-only airline in Korea, is strengthening safe operations by partnering with the American aircraft manufacturer Boeing.
On the 21st, Air Incheon announced that it signed a strategic partnership with Boeing the day before and will participate in Boeing's newly established flight and safety specialized organization 'FOR' support program.
Accordingly, Boeing plans to closely cooperate with Air Incheon's Flight Operations Headquarters and provide a customized flight support program. This program is designed to optimize the operation of Boeing aircraft, with Boeing experts providing technical advice, operational support, and in-depth guidance to Air Incheon. Air Incheon currently operates four Boeing B737-800F cargo aircraft.
Through this agreement, Air Incheon expects to strengthen its position in the air cargo industry and enhance operational safety and efficiency. Earlier, on the 7th, Air Incheon signed a basic agreement for the sale of cargo businesses with Korean Air and Asiana Airlines. Once the corporate merger review by the European Union (EU) and U.S. competition authorities for Korean Air and Asiana Airlines is completed, Air Incheon plans to acquire Asiana Airlines' cargo business division.
Lee Jong-jin, Head of Flight Operations at Air Incheon, said, "Boeing's support will greatly help Air Incheon secure operational safety and efficiency," adding, "We will provide even more excellent service to our customers."
