The Uiryeong Office of Education in Gyeongnam announced on the 19th that it held a meeting on the 16th at the Office of Education, inviting Provincial Assemblyman Kwon Wonman to discuss current educational issues in Uiryeong and key projects for 2025.
The meeting was attended by senior officials including Superintendent Kwon Soonhee, where they discussed the general status and educational environment of the Uiryeong Office of Education, securing the budget in response to the 2025 budget reduction, designation of school sports in Uiryeong, revitalization of local business usage, and strategies to overcome the crisis of school closures by fostering appropriately sized schools.

Assemblyman Kwon, after hearing explanations on the current direction of Uiryeong education, the main business plans for 2025, and current issues, said, "It was a meaningful time to exchange various opinions in order to seek development directions for both the Uiryeong region and Uiryeong education."
Superintendent Kwon expressed gratitude to Assemblyman Kwon Wonman for visiting the Office of Education despite his busy legislative schedule, and requested continued interest and support for the development of Uiryeong education.
