A Man in His 40s Attempting Kidnapping at Jamsil Baseball Stadium Arrested... Arrest Warrant to Be Requested

A man who attempted to kidnap a woman he did not know at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul was arrested by the police.
On the 19th, the Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced that they had apprehended a man in his 40s, identified as Mr. A, in Incheon at around 5:30 PM the previous day on suspicion of attempted kidnapping.
Mr. A is accused of trying to kidnap an unknown woman by covering her mouth in the parking lot of Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, at around 9:30 PM on the 10th, taking advantage of the crowd after the game ended.
When the victim strongly resisted, Mr. A fled the scene.
The police tracked Mr. A using CCTV and black box footage and arrested him eight days after the report was filed. After his arrest, Mr. A confessed to the crime to the police.

The police are investigating the exact motive for the crime and plan to apply for an arrest warrant against Mr. A.
