KB Securities Conducts 'Kids Financial Summer Academy' for Children of High-Net-Worth Individuals
KB Securities announced on the 13th that it conducted the 'Kids Financial Summer Academy' for the elementary school children of high-net-worth (HNW) clients.
KB Securities held this program twice on the 6th and 12th of last month at KB GOLD&WISE the FIRST Banpo, timed to coincide with the elementary school students' summer vacation. The program provided experiential activities related to finance and economics, along with customized education on saving and investing for the students.
On the first day of the program, under the theme "Amazing Money and Rational Consumption," lectures on the history and concept of money were given, along with experiential education aimed at fostering proper spending habits. On the second day, with the engaging theme "Becoming an Apple (AAPL) Shareholder with 10,000 Won," participants experienced investing in stocks with a small amount and received special education to learn the basic concepts of the stock market.
While the children participated in the education, KB Securities provided professional tax lectures related to inheritance and gifts for the high-net-worth clients, along with consultations on wealth management.
