Kim Min-kyung, Minji from NewJeans, and Kim Jong-kook were selected as stars who would likely have competed in the Olympics as national representatives if they hadn't become celebrities.

On the 12th, the online community 'DC Inside' revealed the results of a poll conducted from the 5th to the 11th, asking netizens about "stars who would have competed in the Olympics as national representatives if they hadn't become celebrities."

Kim Min-kyung took first place. Out of a total of 13,970 votes, she received 4,145 votes (30%), earning the top spot. Known for her natural athletic ability, Kim Min-kyung earned the nickname "the talent Taereung missed." She previously served as a practical shooting national representative through the web variety show "Undongddung" and recently worked as a special commentator for the Paris Olympics.

Minji took second place with 1,875 votes (14%). Minji, a member of the girl group NewJeans, surprised netizens by delivering a perfect kickoff at the recent Bayern Munich vs. Tottenham match. Due to her exceptional athletic ability, fans refer to her as "the idol the sports world lost."

Kim Jong-kook was selected third with 1,691 votes (13%). Known as a representative sports enthusiast in the entertainment industry, Kim Jong-kook regularly uploads fitness-related videos on his YouTube channel "Jim Jong-kook," receiving enthusiastic responses. He is also known for his passion for sports, even running a celebrity soccer team.
