First, air conditioning units were installed inside the anode material factory, which operates a calcination furnace?a piece of equipment that manufactures anode materials through high-temperature heat treatment exceeding 900 degrees Celsius?to improve working conditions. Additionally, portable air conditioners were deployed to allow field employees to cool down even briefly from the heat.
In the factory’s indoor rest areas, items for preventing heat-related illnesses during the hot season, such as ion drinks, ice cream, saline glucose, heatwave emergency kits, and automatic blood pressure monitors, were stocked at all times.
Cooling products such as cooling vests, ice packs, cool arm sleeves, and helmet-specific hairbands were also provided to workers who regularly enter high-temperature indoor sites.
