Krafton Expands Global Publishing... Former Riot CEO Jin-ho Oh Joins as CGPO
On the 6th, Krafton announced that it has recruited Jin-ho Oh as CGOP (Chief Global Publishing Officer) to strengthen its business expansion in the global market and discover new intellectual properties (IP).
CGOP Oh previously served as Head of Global Business at Riot Games headquarters and as MD at Blizzard Entertainment. He is recognized for holding key positions at global gaming companies and leading the successful launch and global service of major IPs, accumulating international experience and insights. Oh will join Krafton in September this year and oversee all overseas business operations.
Through this recruitment, Krafton expects to discover new IPs, enhance services, and expand publishing. The company plans to improve its competitiveness in international business. It is also expected to create synergy as Krafton broadens its business scope through active mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
CGOP Oh said, "Based on the business capabilities and successful experiences accumulated over a long time in the gaming industry, I will present results that satisfy users."

At the end of last year, it recruited Sang-hoon Yoon, who served as Head of Global New Business at Apple headquarters and CEO of Apple Korea, as VP of Global Strategy and Operations. In May this year, it recruited Thomas Go, who led Samsung Pay Global at Samsung Electronics and platform business at Epic Games headquarters, as VP of Publishing Platform.
