Ulleung Youth Group Successfully Concludes the 35th Ulleung Beach Song Festival
Ulleung County in North Gyeongsang Province successfully concluded the 35th Ulleung Beach Song Festival, which was held over two days on the 2nd and 3rd, despite the sweltering heat.

View original imageThe event, now in its 35th year and organized by the local community group Ulleung Cheongnyeondan, offered a variety of attractions at the outdoor special stage at Jeodong Port, including performances by invited singers, a singing contest, and fireworks.
The passionate performances by singing contest participants and the fireworks that lit up the night sky were more than enough to help local residents and tourists beat the heat.
Kim Jinhak, head of Ulleung Cheongnyeondan, said, "I would like to thank the local residents and tourists who attended this summer event despite the heat," adding, "Our youth group will continue to take on new challenges and strive to become the light and salt of the community."
Celebrating its 36th anniversary this year, Ulleung Cheongnyeondan is a community organization made up of about 80 current and former members, and contributes to the local community every year through various volunteer activities and services.
