Gwangju Chamber of Commerce Implements 'Support for Employment and Working Environment Improvement in the Automobile Industry'
The Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced on the 5th that it is recruiting participating companies for the 'Automotive Industry Employment and Working Environment Improvement Support Project.'
This project targets local automotive parts manufacturers and Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Motors partners, and consists of support for dormitory rental fees (monthly rent), health check-up expenses, and improvements to shared facilities.
Applications for dormitory rental fee and health check-up expense support will be accepted until the project budget is exhausted, providing up to 300,000 KRW per month for rent and up to 300,000 KRW per person for health check-ups.
By August 30, beneficiary companies will be selected based on document screening and on-site inspections, and up to 6 million KRW will be provided for renovation and repair costs to improve worker welfare facilities such as lounges, showers, and restrooms.
